Our Policy On Privacy Information Collected
As from December 21 2001, the Privacy Act came into force and now affects all individuals and businesses. We have taken the initiative to outline our policy in relation to the recruitment industry (this policy has actually been in effect since the inception of our business in 1981).
The act affects all parties including candidates, employers and recruitment agencies. It is designed to ensure that any information gained by any party is used with consent for employment-related purposes.
Our company policy on privacy stands as follows:
- Any candidate’s identity and information is not disclosed without consent.
- Our database is maintained for the exclusive purpose of our recruitment activities for both clients and candidates and at no time is this information offered for outside commercial use.
- Every endeavour is made to maintain our database as current. This is however reliant upon information received.
EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE OF THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE PRIVACY ACT.
